Description of the device
Polyurethane seamless transition POLIPUR type devices are devices which is the basis of a two-component, self-leveling, elastomeric polyurea weight (advanced polyurethane).
Expansion joints type POLIPUR allow shifts of up to ± 60 mm.
Ideal for rehabilitation of bridges because they do not require a niche for installation.
They are highly resistant to vibration from traffic and provide high driving comfort without causing noise exceeding the normal noise of driving on the pavement.
Advanced polyurethane is reinforced by steel elements, which are channeled deformation in the area where the device must be carried strains, thus ensuring adherence devices with the surrounding frame, waterproofing and durability of the expansion joints.
Permanent factory control all production processes and the use of advanced polyurethane, provide high quality POLIPUR expansion joints.
Advanced Polyurethane PU 860, which is incorporated in POLIPUR devices:
- has a large deformation ... 700% elongation to fracture
- permanently elastic - no occurrence rut or recesses of traffic
- installation is done "cold process" prior mixing two components without the need of heating, with the possibility of incorporating segments (possible traffic flow during installation of POLIPUR
- it is a homogeneous material and allows the deformation of the device in all directions
- durable and resistant to abrasion and UV radiation (with a final coating TC458) - does not require the maintenance of expansion joints ... the principle is "installed - and forget it" for less burdened roads
